With plenty of special offers to make the day even more memorable, there's a wide range of options to help you celebrate. Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai

Celebrating Father’s Day in style, Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai's three kitchens are offering festive fares for dads to pick and choose. Kitchen Studios will host an intimate and indulgent brunch with a large selection of seafood and complimentary bottle of red wine, at RMB388 per person. There will also be an artist sketching families to capture this moment of celebration. If you are in the mood for Japanese cuisine, 88 Sushi Bento Bar is offering a seven-course meal at RMB198 per person which includes special sashimi, steamed egg custard and green tea ice cream with red bean. Alternatively, Xuan Bar is presenting a hearty French Father’s Day feast with French onion soup, stewed beef cheek, truffle risotto and a chocolate tart and strawberry pomelo to finish. At RMB198 per person, this is a delicious  Father’s Day option.

The Balfour

If you think The Balfour’s beautiful terrace and fabulous Southeast Asian dishes are enough reasons to book a table, then the two-for-one artisanal beer deal (RMB50) every Friday and Saturday from 5pm certainly makes it all the more appealing. What’s more, you can pair a three-tier tasting menu (RMB120) with a breathtaking view of the Lujiazui skyline, while the kids play on the lawn.

The Bull & Claw

With a wide selection of craft beers from around the globe, The Bull & Claw is a perfect spot for a laid-back meal in its backyard garden. Outdoor seating allows the family to comfortably spread out and get messy munching on surf and turf. The space also gives the kids plenty of room to play, while you’re enjoying the extensive drinks menu.

The CUT Rooftop

Ascend the iAMP Mall and celebrate dad on its scenic rooftop. The CUT Rooftop has prepared dads a nourishing brunch set, including a selection of roasts like rump steak, chicken and lamb. Dads will also receive complimentary free-flow of a new cocktail aptly named "Young Fashioned", which is a Lapsang Suchong infused whisky drink. As for the whole family, a two-hour free-flow of booze (additional RMB158) and fresh juices (additional RMB98) is in place to ensure no one is left out.

Cuivre

With an ever-changing menu and top-notch flavors, Cuivre is a go-to for families craving authentic French cuisines. Michael Wendling’s generous portion sizes and cozy dining room allows for plenty of food options that the kids will enjoy, as well as a great wine selection for adults. You can do dinner or opt for the more affordable brunch set instead.

For a dinner to treat dad, look no farther than Henkes and Mr. Willis. These homey bistros will be serving indulgent dinners at RMB1,388 per person. Think oysters, lobster with truffles, Australian Angus sirloin, avocado salad, and mashed truffle potatoes. The laid-back atmosphere will keep the kids feeling cozy, and the simple but tasty dishes will keep parents happy.

Shanghai Slims

From July 15 to 17, Shanghai Slims will be offering easygoing dinner sets for two, including creamy mushroom soup, arugula and ham salad, steak, lobster and cheesecake. The meal will be complemented by a bottle of California red wine plus coffee for two. If you decide to bring the kids along, they can enjoy something from the restaurant's a la carte menu.
