In the heat and humidity that is Shenzhen’s summer, venturing outside for reasons unrelated to immediate survival can be a physically and emotionally taxing process. But when you just can’t stifle the urge to snap aesthetically pleasing, close-up pictures of yourself, we’ve got you covered with these six locations.

Huaqiangbei

With a graffiti-splashed mall and cool rooftop pools, not to mention a remodeled pedestrian street, Huaqiangbei's profile has been coming up over the last year. And while you're there, you might as well update your selfie gear with a 360-degree camera or smartphone stabilizer at the electronics markets.
