Whether you are grateful for your loved ones or some sweet alone time, Al's Diner has a holiday bonanza plate for extroverts and introverts alike. Each helping comes with herb-roasted turkey slices, gravy, cranberry sauce (Al's mom's secret recipe), chorizo sausage stuffing, buttery mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes a go-go, creamy green beans, roasted Brussels sprouts and a slice of pumpkin pie. Give your celebration a modern makeover with Bird's drool-worthy spread of updated classics. Chef Jonathan He has put together a creative menu starting with potato+olive bread alongside a spiced butter candle. There's also kidney bean truffle hummus and beef tartare in the lead up to the main event: Jihuar (Shanghai local brewery) roasted half chicken, IPA gravy, cranberry and tamarind. For sides, they've got Brussels sprouts with a honey glaze, baby potatoes and wine-poached persimmon.

Boxing Cat

Wrangle up friends and family, children and adults, because Boxing Cat's legendary and generous Thanksgiving buffet is back. In addition to the all-you-can-eat food, true sinners can hop onto the free-flow booze train. Choose from 5pm or 8pm seatings, but hurry as seats fill up fast.

From the looks of this menu, chef Hardeep Somal has outdone himself on this year's holiday feast. Four courses of deliciousness kick off with crab-stuffed shrimp followed by lobster mac & cheese. Save room for roast turkey, served with bacon chestnut stuffing though! The final sweet touch comes with pumpkin pie. You might even want to treat yourself to free-flow. We think you deserve it.

Eat, drink and be merry at Cages with a killer buffet spread featuring its famous smoked turkeys along with all the fixings. You can do the latter on actual Thanksgiving day or at a special Sunday supper.  Of course, turkey is involved in every option plus lovely sides like glazed sweet potato with raisins and marshmallow, pumpkin wontons or truffled mac and cheese. Shanghai Slims has been serving Thanksgiving dinner feasts for 10 years in Shanghai! Join them for the annual family-style buffet at one of three seatings: 11.30-1.30pm, 5-7pm or 8-10pm. The Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund invites you to enjoy a delectable Thanksgiving buffet complete with traditional festive favorites at the Grand Brasserie.
