Garbage sorting can never be an easy thing! Yes, it’s true! Starting on July 01, 2019, anyone who is found dumpping trashes without proper itemizations will get a fine of maximum RMB200, or maximum RMB50,000 for an enterprise, ‘the most stringent waste classification measures ever found in history’!

So, here comes some smart guys who have invented a new business – throw the garbage for you!

Annual package service for garbage sorting and disposal, I believe it is a ‘blue sea’ business!

“Not really convenient to dump trashes at regular intervals since I have to leave home early and return late every day,” said a citizen surnamed Chen. “It’s just lucky someone in my neighborhood provide collecting service, so the only thing I have to do is to place the garbage at the doorstep before going out. It will be taken at 9am and sorted out and disposed later for just one yuan per time, RMB30 a month. If for a whole year, there will be a discount!

Alipay is also providing this kind of service now. Just open ‘City Service’, you will see ‘Garbage sorting and collecting’ tab – ‘Yi Dai Reng’ (易代扔).

Home appliances, digital products, domestic waste, bulky items etc., all can be collected at your home.

In fact, don't think it's easy to throw garbage in your place. Can you really differentiate household food waste (‘wet’) and residual waste (‘dry’)?

Express packaging bag (‘dry’)

Express carton (recyclable)

Wet towel, paper towel (‘dry’)

Sanitary napkins, condoms (‘dry’)

Bamboo leaves, corn cob (‘dry’)

Animal excrement - does not belong to any kind of classification which has to be flushed into toilet)

Cat litter (‘dry’)

Cash receipt (‘dry’)

Food packaging bag (‘dry’)

Plastic bags (‘dry’)

Shells and big bones (‘dry’)

Durian shell, coconut shell (‘dry’)

Paper clip (‘dry’)

If you still have a hard time figuring it out, a short description can help you a lot …

Anything that pigs can eat is ‘household food waste’; anything that will cause death of pigs if they eat is ‘hazardous waste; anything that even the pig doesn’t want to eat is ‘residual waste’ … taking consideration of the hog’s feeling, you can sort out the garbage in the right way.

Is there anyone who is ready to develop an APP for ‘share garbage’?
