Shanghai General Hospital International Medical Care Center（Southern Division） Description
The predecessor of International Medical Care Center was named Friendship Ward, which is the point medical service unit designated by the government. The Outpatient department was founded in 1956, while the inpatient department was founded in 1961, including 22 beds. In 1989,the Center was named Sino-US Medical Center with 28 beds. International Medical Care Center was founded in 1993 as a first join-venture medical facility. Our medical service includes the medical treatment, health caring and physical examination. IMCC provides medical support for International events and VIPs, such as Vice President Gore .It is also designated hospital for APEC Olympic and World Expo 2010.
