The Peloton Description
Before the Peloton came about as it still exists today – since 2006, there were already some bike groups riding in Beijing. TRI-Beijing, a hardcore group of Iron Men, and the MOB. For 8 years, the Peloton has continued to grow, whilst maintaining a simple goal: organizing weekly rides for amateur road bike cyclists in the mountains outside Beijing’s 6th ring road. The Peloton caters to the competitive and the more leisure amateur riders.
