Rainbow Bridge International School Description
Welcome to the Rainbow Bridge International School (RBIS) website. Here you find information about our school community and the exciting educational programs offered to RBIS students. Rainbow Bridge International School first opened its doors in 1997 with just two classes serving eighteen preschool students. During the next fifteen years the student population increased and in 2011 RBIS became an International Baccalaureate (IB) World school authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to preschool to Grade Six students. Currently RBIS has fourteen Early Childhood classes, five Kindergarten classes, and ten Elementary classes with a diverse student body fromover thirty different countries. At RBIS we believe that every student can achieve success when given the proper guidance and support. Our dedicated teaching staff nurtures student growth by establishing high and achievable goals in a caring learning environment. We understand that children’s learning is unique, and academic programs are designed to cater to the needs of individual students. We are proud to offer an education which fosters an international perspective. Diverse staff and student populations learn from each other, coming together to value and respect cultural differences. Students learn to become responsible global citizens and extend their cultural compassion to all living things through our partnership with local and global charity organizations. One of our greatest strengths is the sense of community shared by the staff, students, and RBIS families and friends. Family-centered events such as our annual family picnic, Earth Day, Literacy Week, and Festival of the Arts foster the special relationships we share with one another. Engaging curriculum, talented staff, and active family involvement make RBIS an example of education at its best.
